Oil Change Scam-08/05/2025 Went back in to try again with this so called shop. I was greeted this time and someone was interested in getting my car wrote up. He then says to me I’m pretty sure we are out of 0W-20 oil in bulk so we can do ur oil change but we will have to charge you about $30 more for us being out of oil. I said it sounds like u have the oil but you want to charge me more. So I decided for an $80 plus tax, I would shop around. But first I called the Walmart 3 star shop and asked if they had that oil and explained the situation and he said oh yea we have that here it was just hiding behind other stuff. As if they don’t have a computer to tell them when they have 0 vs in stock. He says we can do that oil change come on down and I told him that I was just there for the second

Timeline. Arrive at 11 am. Associate finally comes over at 11:25 am. Starts the process of checking me in. Out of stock on the oil i use. Valvoline a named oil brand. 11:28 informs me after all that and sitting behind 2 cars already in service before we arrived (so they had to be there for over 30+ minutes) and one ahead of us to get serviced. "Oh btw its going to take and hour and a half." So 2 hours later... i left obviously. That is some of the slowest service ive experienced. Even dealers take less time. Not hard to figure out why when everyone is just standing around staring at each other. Go to valvoline or your dealer is all i can say.

I've always been treated with respect and professionalism. I put a set of new tires on my car. I knew what I needed and they never tried to over sell me. I knew more about the product than he did. Not his fault, I was in the same industry for 30 years. He listened to me intently as I described the tire to him. It was like old times, enjoyed it immensely. He thanked me, and got the tires on in 30 minutes.

This place was very busy on the weekends they did not have the staff to support all of the work. The girls who did the intake didn't seem to know what they were doing. They did not have my size tire in stock told me to come back the next day but still did not have it in stock the next day apparently it is a special order. Took an excessively long time to get one oil change like literally 2 hours. I ended up leaving with a 2 hour oil change and no tires. Google stated they close the shop actually closes at 6. I would not have gone had the correct time been posted online.

Walmart Auto was regularly changing my oil. Then someone stripped the oil pan by overtightening the plug and used a makeshift plug called a helicoil to get me out of the shop. When I went back for my next change they said they wouldn't change it again because of the helicoil. I said, "You're the ones who have been changing my oil!!" Didn't matter. They wouldn't acknowledge it or replace the oil pan. Never again. Consumer beware!
