Walmart Auto Care Center

I had a very frustrating experience at Walmart Auto Care Center - Greenville, TX. I went in for a simple oil change and was told that I had a blown head gasket, which is a serious and costly diagnosis. Later, I learned that it was only an oil leak. Giving customers incorrect information about major mechanical issues is unacceptable and creates unnecessary stress and concern. On top of that, I was left waiting in the store for over an hour without being contacted or given any updates. There was no clear communication, no courtesy, and no sense of responsibility for my time. Because of this experience, I will not be returning. I also do not recommend anyone go here for oil changes, tire service, or any other vehicle repairs. Accuracy, honesty, and professionalism matter—and this location

They have had my tire for 3 1/2 hours and still aren’t finished patching it. Everyone else has come and gone and got here after us. They forgot and just left it laying there, were reminded, and forgot again.

I have been a loyal customer at this location, bringing all of my vehicles here whenever I needed new tires. Today, I came in to repair a tire that was losing air. To my surprise, no one even asked about my warranty. The only options given were to either purchase a new tire or go somewhere else to have it repaired. I have never seen a business turn away a customer in this manner. Very disappointing service, especially after being a returning customer for so long.

Does not stock oil for one of the most common cars on the road. (New Toyota Corolla) Technician told me they didn't have 0W-8, which isn't even the right oil for my car..... BEWARE Please save yourself some time and frustration and go to Kwik Kar - where they *actually* have oil....for cars. Oh, and it doesn't take them 2 hours to change your oil.

I didn't have time to change my own oil. I didn't realize that Walmart used the "core" style on their oil changes. These filters provide minimal protection for your vehicle and a great cost saving for the buisness. I have attached a picture of the filter designed for the vehicle looks like compared to the filter used for Wal-Mart. The "core" filter has about half the filtering capacity of the recommended filter. Without the filtering capacity, the oil flows through the bypass valve in the filter and the dirty oil circulates through the engine. This can greatly reduce the life of an engine. These filters are very short but match the diameter and the threads of the recommended filters on multiple vehicles and are used for cost saving and simplicity of service, benefiting the buisness
