Walmart Auto Care Center

Went to get my tired plugged due to a small screw causing a air leak. Was told there would be over a 2 hour wait time even tho parking lot was empty upon arrival and STILL empty roughly 20 minutes later as we were leaving. Do not recommend them at all.

I went this morning and paid for 4 tires for my truck. There was a heavyset man behind the counter and after ringing me up, before I could ask for help getting the tires into my vehicle he told me I was all set to go in a tone as if he wanted me out of his sight asap. I explained to him that I had just had surgery and asked for help loading the tires and he sighed and kept mumbling under his breath. The other worker, Mike, was very kind and courteous. The heavyset man always acts like he is annoyed by anyone being there at all. He acted very rude towards me and I did not appreciate being talked to in such a rude manner. I went there a few weeks ago and got an oil change done. When I went to pick up my car it appeared that they didn't reset my mileage . I tried a few times and the message would not clear. I drove back the next day and asked if they could try. It still would not turn off. They told me it has to be the sensor. Really?, it happened to go bad the same time as me actually needing an oil change? Round 2. I took my car there today as my battery light was on. They told me yup its your battery. We might be able to charge it, but then it might come back as having a bad cell. I said ok put a new one in then. $180 later as soon as I start the car the same message, battery saver on, and then the battery light came on too. Guess I didn't need that new battery? Slow service for getting a simple oil change. Called once was told 2 hour wait. When I stopped by another day was told an hour and a half wait. Went in there this morning at opening the and overhead that they are short on techncations to work. This is an excellent way to lose business. I almost went around the corner and paid more just for the convenience of not waiting to get the car serviced.

I got a nail in my tire on I-20 and air pressure was hissing out. This being Saturday about 5 pm there were few options. I made it to the Walmart Auto Center in Hartsville and they did not have my tire in stock but kindly put my spare on at no cost. What a blessing. They were so kind. Highly recommend this crew.
