5 Stars - Better Price, Better Service, and Worth the Drive! I recently had a major battery scare during this Maryland cold snap. My OBD scanner confirmed my battery was dying, so I researched the best options for wintry conditions. I decided on an AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery. For those who don't know, AGM batteries are far superior to standard ones because they are "spill-proof" and much more resistant to vibration and extreme cold—exactly what you need for MD winters. The Price Difference: Advanced Auto Parts wanted $270 for the battery I needed with no discounts allowed. Walmart had the exact same specs and battery for only $190. Drove an hour for my appointment. I had to wait almost 90 minutes before the technician informed me that he could not install my tires because the lift did not have the proper extensions. The shop’s floor jack was broken. Both managers were out and previously had refused to get the lift extensions necessary or approve purchase of a replacement jack. Very little help in solving my problem, if any. Just gave me the number to a different Walmart. I had to make the call myself. No apologies. Both managers were out. Will be returning the tires.

Would give zero stars if I could... the WORST experience I have ever had with any person in the auto service industry. I made an appointment weeks in advance to have my tires replaced, specified the type/make of my vehicle, and this place confirmed that they could indeed replace my tires. I went to the store today and they told me they could not replace the tires because they did not have the proper equipment for my specific car... despite giving the type/make WEEKS IN ADVANCE. I was extremely frustrated because I drove 1 hour and took a whole day off from work to have this completed. Then they told me to complain to costumer service if I have an issue with this and to stop telling them, so I did. Had a problem with a flat tire that had a nail in it. They convinced me to get all 4 tires replaced (was probably time to anyway). So I paid for 4 new tires. Within 72 hours I was stranded with a flat tire on a totally new tire they gave me. When I brought it in to have the tire replaced, the service manager was very rude, implied the tire could not be faulty, and insinuated that I had done wrong by driving on a flat (I drove to get to my family’s house near by because I was stranded with a brand new tire that was going flat). The worst part was after all was said and done I was just handed paperwork by someone else and told “everything was good” with no explanation as to what happened with the tire, what they did to fix it, nor how to put my mind at ease that this shouldn’t happen again.

Overall great experience getting 4 new tires on my car. Everyone I dealt with was helpful and professional. I ordered what I wanted online at walmart.com and had them delivered to the store. I set up an appointment and couldn't have been more pleased. It took less time than anticipated. I received a text when they started and a text when my car was done. Pricing was better than several places I checked into. I would use them again and recommend them.
