Walmart Auto Care Center

Carl was truly like an angel sent when we needed him most! We were on a road trip when our tire made a popping sound around 6:20 PM, and everything else was closed. We made it to this store and Carl was the kindest, most reassuring greeting in a stressful moment (two girls on a road trip who weren’t sure what to do!). He helped us quickly and got us safely back on the road, we were out of there by 7:00. Everyone there deserves a raise. Great people and great service. Thank you so much, Carl!

I called ahead to ask if an appointment was required for an oil change, and I was clearly told that no appointment was needed — just come in. When I arrived, I was told I would have to wait 2–3 hours because other customers had appointments. I explained that I had called before coming, but the technician responded, “I’m not the one who answered the phone. I’m just a tech.” I asked to speak with a manager, but no one came. I waited for a long time with no assistance and no apology. The issue is not the wait — it’s the poor communication and unprofessional attitude. Customer service should be better than this. Very disappointing experience. I will not be returning.

just earlier today I walked in carrying a battery and they were all to worried about there conversation to acknowledge me so I held my battery for a good 5 mins then they decided to acknowledge me and then they all flocked like birds and left one lady there. She said sit it on the counter and then let some old entitled man cut infront of me and checked out a whole buggy worth of crap and said that he parks in the back because he doesn’t want anybody hitting his car what a joke this place is. Also some “mechanic” and desk lady was flirting saying she’s flexible and the guy said I’d like to see that and then They both giggled like little school girls. Will not be back get your service department in order

I cannot explain the gratitude that we have for the automotive department at Newport Walmart! We were on our way to shop and reached the parking lot yes the very beginning of the parking lot and our car died! My husband has had 2 strokes. We went to the automotive department and Sheryl behind the counter was just getting ready for her break. We explained our situation and she jumped into action went out to the staff and asked what could be done to help us. That is when we met Christie who was still on her lunch break, she clocked back in and walked to the end of the parking lot to help us. She is an amazing woman whom went above and beyond. The whole automotive staff joined to help. When I say our battery was dead it was stone dead they pushed it into a bay to fix it. This crew works in

One of my worst experiences within a Walmart or auto place period. As soon as I pulled up I was met with a little old man that had no clue what I was talking about when I tried to do exactly as the app told me no big deal except he was rude as could be and acted like I was plum ignorant talked over me and ignored or couldn’t hear half of what I said. After this sour encounter I left my car to be fixed. I paid ahead of time and had an appointment at 9:00 am which I was right on time for and needed 4 tires and all of them installed. It took 2 hours and 45 mins for a job I was told and know should take one hour if not less in a shop. I looked through the window and saw my car not being worked on or touched for about 30 mins straight and when I finally asked it was magically instantly ready. I
