Walmart Auto Care Center

I would not definitely not recommend anyone to go here. I had an appointment at 9:30 and was told it would be 45 minutes. After 45 minutes they still hadn't called for me to pick up my vehicle. I went to the back to wait and didn't see my car anywhere being tended to. By 11 I asked about my car, the clerk checked and told me they were fixing to start on it and that the wait would be another 1-1 1/2 hours, saying they had other appointments. Mine was at 9:30 and over an hour later still hadn't touched my car. Asked for my keys back to go elsewhere.

They told me that they couldn't do my oil change because the oil plug was cross threaded. I was the only person there which also seemed a little odd (I used to work at a TLE years ago and there were rarely slow periods.) I stopped at a different oil change place because that just didn't sit right with me, and they told me my oil plug came out no problem and they were able to do my oil change.

I've had multiple bad experiences with this autoshop but today was just over the top. Dropped it off at 430 to get 2 tires put on, guy said it would be an hour or two (vague timeframe but whatever). Took almost 3 hours and my car was the 2nd to last for them to finish on. Highly doubt that nobody else dropped their car off in the last 2 and half hours they were open. Very annoying but I can deal with that. But then they charge me for a tire rotation that they didn't ask if I wanted and a warranty that they didn't ask me for. They also didn't even rotate the tires. The paper they give you at the end even says I opted out (I didnt) and that I opted in for the warranty (I didnt). Basically stole $50+ from me on top of bad service.

I had a rough experience with O’Reily this morning so I went to Walmart Auto right after and the lady working (i forgot to get her name) was so sweet and kind and so was the guy checking out my car. Thank you so much for being so kind and helpful! I’ll definitely continue to come back!!

They got my tires done in a timely and professional timeframe. Word of advice, if you want service done quickly, go at night. They work quicker.
