I attempted to return a $70 stainless steel trash can today that doesn’t function properly (pedal to open lid only works intermittently) and was refused because I misplaced my receipt. Apparently, since my transaction was over $50 they cannot provide store credit. I get it. Fraud is rampant, but it’s ridiculous that if you lose a receipt there is nothing they can do. I doubt anyone from corporate will ever read this. In the off-chance someone does, you should consider empowering stores with the tools and authority to serve their clients! I was headed back to the housewares department to buy a replacement, but considering my business isn’t valued, I quickly changed my mind. I will take my business elsewhere. Had a friend who's car battery died on them I the parking lot. Jumped the car and ran it around to the tire center. They had the batter for a really good price. I did the change out right there at the back door. 20 min and we were on our way!

Be sure to check what you’re buying because they put used broken items on the shelf for full price. I bought a swiffer power wash mop get it home open the box it’s missing the main pole. And there was dog hair and dust in it and the handle had black marks on it. Tried to exchange it for a functioning non used one, I didn’t have the receipt they basically accused me of stealing it and said they would never put an item out like that. I said well you did because this is how it was when I opened it. Needless to say they didn’t provide any customer service and left me with a useless mop so I threw it in the trash inside Walmart and thanked them for being of no help. Really should provide better customer service being a billion dollar company you’d think you’d be able to swap an identical item

I had trouble finding the item I was after. A kind associate pointed me in the right direction. I had an issue with a cash payment and the Walmart team was quick and courteous to make it right.

Don't buy a concord bike from this Walmart I bought 2 at 600 dollars a piece thinking there bikes would be safe and after 4 months of riding one back and forth to work while riding the neck broke and I wrecked .thinking the frame was warranty for a year but because it had been over there 90 days they said they couldn't help me instead they called the bike company who is now giving me the run around to get my bike fixed . And that was after 2 trips into the store first trip they said Tina was the only one who could override it then Tina sent me to deal with a bike company who isn't helping .so spend your money elsewhere
