Went in for a scheduled recall, waited over 20 minutes past my appointment time and was told I'd have to wait another 4 hours or I'd need to reschedule since there is no loaner cars available. I would rather chew on broken glass, don't waste your time.

Takes engine and cabin filter out for free (without you asking them to) to tell you it’s dirty. Then if you agree to let them replace it, they charge you $35 labor each on top of the filters themselves to put the new one in. Even though if you had declined, they’d have put your old one back in for free. Dealerships never stop taking advantage of people. Advice for others: look up how easy it is to change these filters in your vehicle before you pay them $35 to open a cover, pull the old one out, and put the new one in.

Thank you to Kate and the mechanics who took a mouse-destroyed electrical system on my Subaru Outback and fixed it beautifully! Runs great after the apocalyptic damage! Tip: car insurance covers mouse damage. (Which was good news because the damage would have been about 6k.) The staff here bend over backwards to explain, provide videos, and give you options for what needs to be done NOW and what can wait. Great customer service by Kate who was personable and very funny. She gave me advice on how to prevent mouse damage in the future. Kudos to the mechanics for hard work needed to fix such a mess. Thank you!!!

My first visit to Walser Subaru Burnsville for service went well. The service advisor JP was great. He was very thorough going through what was planned for my appointment and going through the results afterward. One part of their process worth noting is the tech videos the inspection. Not that a video eliminates all potential for tomfoolery by a vehicle service establishment but the increased level of transparency is appreciated nonetheless. This appointment was for my vehicle's first oil change, so I will update my review as I get more data points and the service level gets more complex, but my initial impression is positive. It also doesn't hurt that they are stocked with granola bars in the waiting area (Subaru owner joke); well played Walser.

I needed a new mirror on my Imprezza. The whole process was a great experience. The gentlemen I worked with to get an appointment was very communicative and worked with my schedule. My daughter brought my car for service and had a great experience. The woman who checked her in was great! My daughter was told it would take a hour and a half to two hours to put the new mirror on. The car was done in a hour. On top of that it was $15 dollars under what was quoted. I loved the communication and great customer service. Both myself and my daughter said we have never been treated so great at a dealership before. I bought my car from another Subaru dealership, which is significantly closer, but I will be taking my car for service to Burnsville from now on.
