This man knows what he’s talking about!! If you want a mechanic who actually looks into the problem and not one who simply plugs in a code reader, this is your mechanic. I was burned by two other shops who did just that, scanned the code and quoted the highest paying job for them. I took my truck to Walter for a second opinion after another shop gave me a costly repair quote. Walter was not only able to beat the repair quote from the other shop by 50% of the projected total, but he was also able to determine that what the other shop wanted to repair, wasn’t the problem at all, and my truck only needed simple repairs. This man and his wife saved me from the original quote of $4400, to his quote for the same job of $2400 and then to what I paid out the door, of $412 after his diagnostic

I can't say enough good things about this establishment! My vehicle broke down while my kids and I were camping on the Illinois River. We were close to 100 miles from home. I found Walter's Automotive online and contacted them. They had my car fixed that day, and they even came to pick me up at the campground, which was about 15 miles away. On top of that, the price they charged me for fixing my car was amazingly reasonable. I encourage anyone who lives in this area to use Walter's Automotive! If I lived here, I would go nowhere else!

Walter and Cressa are two of the most genuine people I’ve ever met. The few times I’ve had to bring my car in, they have been so helpful and I always leave with a peaceful mind knowing they took good care of my car. Truly, I’d recommend them to anyone needing work done on their car.

We came through Siloam springs on our honeymoon, just as we pulled into the rib crib a front ball joint broke on our pickup, I contacted Walter . He came to look at the truck after hours, he got a towing service to tow the truck to his shop. He drove my wife and I to a motel in his cool, 1948 dodge, He had the truck fixed the next morning at 9:45 AM And came to pick us up from the motel in the morning. He did this all for a better price than most places would charge for only the parts

Walter is awesome! He's done a few things for us on my husband's truck. Reasonable cost! Quick service when parts are available. Obviously it takes some time if they have to order but otherwise he gets it done quickly!
