Walt's Garage

I have been using Walt's garage exclusively after a recommendation from our neighbor, and will continue to do so as long as I have need. This was my 3rd(?) visit overall, but first review. They have been nothing but kind and informative. My car was having issues this time that were not consistent, and they took it in and put it to the test to figure out what was going on. I ended up needing new spark plugs and an ignition coil, and they quoted me worst case scenario pricing, so I knew ahead of time what to expect. When I picked up, they even brought it out front to warm up while I checked out. Overall could not reccomend them highly enough. If you're looking for an honest auto shop, this is the place.

Thank you Walt's Garage for taking my son's broke down car in today (11-10-25)!! I was honestly amazed that it was repaired today...did not expect such prompt service!! We (parents) are 700 miles away and were worried about our son being without his car for a period of time!! Please know that we'll sleep better tonight!! And thank you for picking him up when the car was ready....much appreciated!!

Over a month ago, my car died while I was at a stop sign. I called Walt's to see if I could have it towed there and he said he would look at it. It sat on his lot for a month. Last Friday I went to the shop to get my keys so I could tow it to a different repair shop. When I went inside, Walt told me it was possibly a "glitch" due to the cold. He moved my car forward and back 20 feet with no issues. No one ever called to tell me that. No one ever updated me on anything unless I called. Then I was told they hadn't had time to look at it. I took my car to another repair shop and two work days later have an answer. The throttle body needs replaced. A month is a long time to go without a vehicle or an answer as to what's wrong. Come as a customer, leave as a friend. Walt's garage is the epitome of a hometown mechanic. Excellent knowledge, ability, and care. Care not just for the vehicle but also for the customer. If you need a repair this is the first and only place you need to think of.
