Wash N Go

On a Sunday a business owner would think that having all the self service bays open for customers would be a priority in order for them to make money. I came all the way down here to wash my car and each bay had a cone in front of it in the middle of a sunny Sunday. Seriously? And yes I was the one who kindly asked if there are any other washes nearby that actually WORK, unlike this poorly maintained one here

Decent little car wash. I did the manual car wash system, and it works pretty decently. Costs $5 for 6 minutes using a credit card. Had to repeat the process 3x because the car was still kind of dirty. At least everything worked well, especially the super high pressure modes, which are VERY high pressure. My only problem with this place is the credit card reader on the right manual car wash lane (when viewed from Caratoke Hwy). I tried using it because I had no quarters with me, but it ended up being lodged with sand, and it scratched the magnetic stripe on my card. It then ultimately declines the card due to the reader being messed up. So I went to the other lane, and the reader worked perfectly fine. Great stop to get the salt spray off your vehicle. Problem if you have a roof top carrier because the automatic washer bay has a seven foot limit. My Land Cruiser with top carrier is 7.5’. I had to use the self service bay.

This car wash is a joke, each cycle of the wash lasts like 20 seconds, nothing dispensed was enough to even coat the car, the soap, and tri foam it did drizzle on was rinsed off almost immediately without time to sit, couldn’t remove anything on the paint. It was so poor it left suds on the vehicle when done. Looking at the reviews the owners is fine with providing a bad service at an inflated price.

$13 for a wash and it left my truck with a really streaky film on it! You can see it bairly touched the windshield besides where the wipers are
