Wayne Transmission is absolutely the best! I spoke with two other places that said I needed a new transmission, but Mr. Nyhuis at Wayne Transmission was completely honest and thorough. He told me the exact cost (just under $6000.00 for new) but suggested trying another option first — and it worked! He saved me thousands of dollars. I’ll never go anywhere else for transmission work. Highly recommend!

Great transmission shop, they changed my transmission fluid and filter and had it done in the same day. Also it was a fair price considering other places wanted to charge me an arm a leg! The owner was a good guy to deal with! I highly recommend this place!

Amazing people and service! I had some transmission issues on my car recently. Everyone was so helpful in explaining what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix. When they discovered an issue relating to a service bulletin, they were kind enough to go above and beyond and print it out for me. 10/10 recommend going to them!

Bought my car to Wayne Transmission the other day (July 18th). Thought the transmission sounded funny and asked Barry to take a look at it. He test drove it and explained to me there was no real problem with the transmission. He could have told me anything and I would have never known. He didn't charge me for the testing also. It is very refreshing to find an honest mechanic and I would highly recommend his shop. He also told me I should get a tune-up as his computer readout showed miss-firing cylinders in my engine.
