BUYER BEWARE, total dishonesty, they tried to sell me a new battery, telling me my old one was bad, which is only five months old and was still in good working order, I will never go back there again. I drove the car into Welk's parking lot under its own power and then shut it off and again restarted it with no problem. I wanted to see how honest this repair facility would be. Eight volts would not have been enough power to restart the car when I did start it in their lot. They made no effort to first clear the codes and then test the battery, from that point I had to make sure I would get the car back as quick as possible in its original good working order. No thank you.

Customers who care about animals may want to reconsider supporting this business. Two fixed community cats, including an elderly cat, are fed here after closing. Management chose to call the police and threaten arrest over providing food, despite no mess, no dishes left, and less than a minute on the property. This is not a welcoming or compassionate place, especially toward animals that depend on kindness to survive.

Just completed my emissions testing at Welk’s. Wonderful. Fast. Definitely recommend. Got my sticker immediately after the test.

Excellent experience. Brought in thinking I needed new seal and oil pan. Told me my mom's car needs to be driven more so the seal can get moisture and expand to seal. Its been sitting for over a year. Last guy said we need a new pan and seal $700.00. Cost me 70.00 for just a check and diagnosis. Will definitely bring future cars here like the honesty.

Welk Automotive deserves a resounding five stars! My wife was stranded with a bad alternator, and Rick from Welk Automotive went above and beyond to help. He drove a few blocks up Layton Avenue to personally inspect the vehicle and reassured my wife that the issue could be resolved quickly. The timely repair, combined with a reasonable cost and the kind and courteous staff, truly made a difference during a stressful situation. We're incredibly grateful for their exceptional service!
