We needed to get some noisy brakes checked, figured it was time to do them, needed an oil change. So we asked them to check the brakes, change the oil and do an inspection. They very easily could have said we needed brakes and we would have done them, most shops prolly would have. Instead, they inspected the brakes and did the oil change. Then they let us know that the brakes were fine, no need to do them right now. They were honest, kind, and quick. They have definitely earned our business. I highly recommend them.

We’ve used WHAuto for about 15 years now, after a neighbor recommended them. Just that fact alone tells you a lot. They do an excellent job on whatever repair is needed, as well as making sure basic maintenance is, well, maintained. They recommend needed repairs, and they don’t push un-needed expensive repairs. The front desk staff are particularly pleasant, as well as knowledgeable.

This occurred a few months ago, but because it still bothers me I felt the need to speak up. My Mother-in-law had been a pretty happy customer with these guys, taking her car in for various services, big & small, over the past few years. She often would recommend them to her friends & spoke highly of them. Then a few months ago, as she was rushing to get my daughter to school one chilly morning, she was stopped in her tracks by a dead car battery. All of us that could’ve jumped her were at work & AAA can take hours to arrive so she called West Highland to see if they could help. After all, they had just done some expensive work to her vehicle the week prior. They did quickly send someone to her house, (less than a mile away) who used a jump box to start her car in a few seconds, which was

Communication with this location is low quality. Left two messages with in two days with my phone number and contact information. I recieved no call backs. The second day of reaching out I called 3 to 4 times. The second or third time I called back I did get someone on the line. They were busy with repairs which is understandable. How ever the way the handle the phone call was poorly. They said they could not hear me. I called back immediately. Didn’t want to waste there time or mine. So I just asked if they have resources for a 500-1500 dollar loan to help with my auto repair. They said no. So we ended our conversation. Also do not call between noon and 1pm. They are at lunch and that’s understandable.

I feel incredibly taken care of by West Highlands Auto Repair. They keep my Audi on track, they find safety issues, they are honest and they are kind. Highly recommend.
