West Texas Windshields

Needed a rock chip fixed while traveling. We called Kayla a hour before coming in town. The tech was awesome and was able to get chip fixed within 20 minutes and we were on our way. $49 Highly recommend

I just recently used West Texas Windshields to have a windshield replaced on my Ford Truck. When I initially made my appointment for them to come out to my business and do this work, I had the priviledge of speaking with Kayla and she was very, very helpful. She took the info, gave me pricing and other details that I needed as well as setting a time for their arrival on a particular date. When West Texas Windshields arrived on their scheduled date, they were actually early and they turned to the job immediately. The windshield was replaced without any significant issues and the work was excellent. The whole job took between an hour and an hour and a half. Thank you for the prompt service in repairing the windshield chip on my wifes Equinox. One problem, the chip is supposed to be filled in and smooth with some slight visible damage. There still is an indentation or hole that shouldn't be felt to the touch. I understand it's not going to disappear completely but I'd like for them to return and redo it properly. Thank you! The repaired area of a windshield chip should be smooth and seamless. The repair process involves injecting a clear resin into the chip, then curing it with UV light and scraping and polishing it flat. The result should be a structurally sound area that's less visible than the original damage, but may still have some light marks.

There were some issues during the installation that were addressed by the management as soon as they were pointed out, I commend the Manager Mandi for reaching out to solve them directly with me. I was disappointed by the clean up of the job as there were hand prints on the front struts of the roof, but these were also addressed. That aside, I would return to this business under the current mgt. confident of the best job possible.
