White Horse Village

White Horse Village is on the Move! The community has commenced a multi-year strategic plan. So glad my mom & dad live at White Horse Village.

Deciding to move here sooner than later, at the age of 71, I moved into a lovely one bedroom with den cottage at White Horse Village. I was drawn to WHV because of its 96 acres of beautiful landscaping, the full range of exceptional Health Care Services, and its socially active campus. The social and physical activities include: bocci, Wii, shuffleboard, croquet, ping pong, pool exercises/pool volleyball, Tai Chi, Chair Yoga, Balance and Strength, Cardio, stationary cycling, Zumba classes and so much more to enjoy. There are committees to join, guest speakers on so many interesting topics, concerts, our very own Village Singers and our Harvesters’ Garden with 73 plots to grow whatever you like. Wonderful facility, helpful, friendly, staff. Supportive and chearful residents, and a beautiful campus! Pet friendly! Great meals, carefully prepaired for sensitive or diets with health issues. The memory support unit, is all around fantastic. So happy that my mother found White Horse Village. 5 + stars

Our five years of residence at White Horse Village encourage us to recommend it to other retirees who find it affordable. Companionship is excellent, recreational and wellness facilities engaging, meals excellent and the availability of medical or personal care as needed a comfort. Staff are courteous and helpful. The setting is scenic and the grounds immaculately maintained. Burglaries when residents were away was a problem for one short period. That was in a more secluded area bordering a state forest preserve. With increased security patrols and precautions I have heard of no further such incidents.

Excellent senior residential community. Whether you need constant care or are self-sufficient, White Horse Village is an absolutely top-shelf place for you or your parents or your grandparents, depending on where you are in your life.
