Whyte’s Auto Repair was recommended to me by another repair shop, which I immediately took as a great sign. Thankfully, Henry Tarr was able to fit me into their busy schedule the very next day. I was dealing with what appeared to be a serious suspension issue that began while I was driving on the highway to Dryden to visit my son for an extended weekend. The mechanic quickly diagnosed the CV joint/axle problem, and the team at Whyte’s completed the repair even faster than I expected. They immediately accessed the necessary parts and got me safely back on the road in no time. I can’t thank Henry Tarr and his team enough. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient throughout the entire process.

I had an absolutely phenomenal experience with these guys. Originally got an estimate in another shop in Ithaca that seemed a bit high. Through going to them I saved $300! The staff was honest, patient, and efficient. After making a call, I was all set with new brake pads and a control arm just a couple of hours later. I’m so glad I chose this shop, all the good things I heard were true.

These guys are so freaking awesome! Had to change a headlight bulb in my ram 1500. Impossible!!!!! I called and asked if they could do it. Got me right in. So super nice! I have found my people here! I will take my truck there for everything now! Highly recommend!

Extremely friendly, professional, and honest. I got a flat while sitting in the driveway and was having trouble getting my wheel off the very corroded rim. I aired up as best I could and went to Whyte's just down the road. They made quick work of swapping my spare out in time for me to get to work. They then patched and replaced the damaged tire in a timely manner. The whole thing was an extremely generous price for how much they accommodated me.
