Part of my shifter cable went out this morning when I was trying to leave for work, and nowhere in town was willing to get me in before next week. I rely heavily on my car for work. This man was willing to make the drive to my apartment and fix it in the parking lot within an hour or so of it breaking. The price was more than reasonable considering he fit me in right away, traveled to me, and made my car driveable again in a very short amount of time. I would recommend this business to anybody needing an expert in a pinch, and I'll likely take my maintenance needs here from now on.

I wish I could give Douglas 10 stars. He is certainly worthy of such praise. He's an honest, hard working, excellent mechanic. My son is a freshman at Missouri S&T, and his car overheated while at school. Since I'm out of state - I had no way to help him. Douglas diagnosed the problem quickly, provided a great estimate, sent me videos and pictures of the issue, and fixed it super quickly. Additionally, during the final test drive, he alerted me to the fact that the front tires needed immediate replacement. This was so above an beyond - that it just goes to show what a great individual he is. His prices are fair, his work is top notch, the work is done quickly, and he's a great communicator. Literally - a great, great, great experience. Highly recommend.

Doug worked quickly to find out why our Land Rover had a rough idle. It took a lot of hard work, but Doug was able to find the issue and get it corrected. No one else wanted to touch the car, but Doug was up for the challenge. He did awesome work would definitely recommend and I've already told a few of my coworkers about him.

I had an awesome experience with Wicklund auto repair. Having come from a family of mechanics it was easy to see he's the real deal. Very knowledgeable and for other older folks he's an honest trustworthy mechanic! I highly recommend him and will only be using him for my mechanical needs! You can't go wrong with Wicklund and you'll be more than satisfied!

I would say keep your receipts, after spending $1,000 plus on “repairs” we wanted to use our extended warranty, and he said we had to go to a licensed garage that would deal with the extended warranty we had with our vehicle. So had called our warranty provider up and they told us any garage/mechanic could do it as long as they accepted the warranty. It felt like he wanted us to drop the additional $2,500-$3,000 dollars to what he said he “thought” he was pretty sure was the issues. After we had it taken to a different garage/mechanic they quickly and swiftly identified what was wrong, to which was not at all what he thought it was the problem. So make sure you do your due diligence in pricing, and work when taking your vehicle in. We had our vehicle as well sit at his location for a week.
