Moving a loved one into a retirement community is never an easy decision. You worry about everything — their safety, their happiness, whether they’ll feel lonely, whether you’re making the right choice. When my parent’s health started declining, I carried that anxiety around like a weight on my chest. But Windsor Point changed that for us. From the very first day, the staff treated my parent’s like human beings with a full life behind them — not a task on a checklist. The nurses know their routines, their little quirks, and what helps them feel comfortable. I’ve watched staff members stop what they’re doing just to take a moment to talk with my parents, hold their hand, or share a laugh. Those moments mean everything. My mother has been at Windsor Point for a little over 4 years; she was in Assisted Living Plus up until 2 months ago. She was moved to Assisted Living and then the Memory Care unit. Obviously there is not enough staff; not trained well and not supervised well. This place is a real moneymaker for the owners and a hell hole for the patients (& probably the staff). RUN, DON'T WALK away from this place.

Poorly managed/run memory care center - Office Manager was a “no show” when I met with staff - medication is not distributed correctly! - the bed bugs the second week a family member was there says it all - external appearance deceiving & internally disorganized mess - some staff are extremely caring while others are rude and give patients minimal attention - do not recommend.

Although there are some caring people working at Windsor Point, Persons in Lead positions, including Mgmt. come across as cold and phony. Everything seems to be about the almighty DOLLAR!! My Mom was an occupant there at Windsor Point for a couple of years. As Her health declined, there was constantly a push for her to be put in skilled nursing... which is a total oxymoron. Not much skilled about it. In fact, when WE had to pull Mom out to go to the hospital due to her declining health after being in "Skilled Nursing for 3-4 months, Rex Hospital got her in better health in 7-10 days. BTW...skilled nursing is approximately $3000 more per month. Not a positive experience. I would highly suggest looking elsewhere to place yourself or your loved ones.

People consistantly call my husbands phone because the phone number is 1 number off. This has been happening for years🫩 i feel bad for the people trying to get up with their loved ones
