Woodland Cottages Senior Living College Station

We have lived at Woodland Cottages for a year now and have greatly enjoyed our time here. The cottages are spacious with large baths and plenty of storage. It is a relief to not have to worry about the maintenance and other costs of home ownership. We are located close to medical facilities, pharmacies, grocery stores and lots of restaurants. The management team is absolutely great! The friends we have met here have quickly become family. If you are ready to reduce stress and have a fun time, Woodland Cottages is the place to be.

We have been living at the Woodland Cottages for a full year now. In the summer of 2023, health issues made researching the next phase of our living arrangements a new consideration. We did tours of all the available retirement communities in the BCS area. Although the Woodland Cottages here in College Station had barely broke ground at the time, it seemed obvious to us that the concept of “cottages” might best fit us because we didn't feel ready to downsize to an apartment and we really wanted ground level and a garage. In August of 2023, Mark and Renee began holding monthly informative lunch gatherings to explain their vision for their Woodland Cottages communities. Better than great active senior living community! We, the residents, are framily! Our 2 BR, 2 bath cottage is amazingly roomy, along with an attached garage. Lots of fun planned activities by our directors. You need to come see for yourself and be immediately amazed! Come join us! You won't regret it!

I highly recommend Woodland Cottages. This 55+ community provides a welcoming community atmosphere with a feel of home. Their clubhouse offers a place for residents and the leadership team to come together for fun and educational events throughout the year. Kim and Cindy are always ready to Welcome you home!!!

Woodland Cottages is wonderful. It’s like living in a very-well-designed real house without the hassles of owning a real house. All of the people that I have met who live here are very friendly. I highly recommend Woodland Cottages to those who want a truly independent-living community for “seasoned” adults.
