A friend told us about a good experience at their garage so we had his car towed there since it was too far to tow it home. They helped us diagnose the issue and resolve it quickly. We brought our Chevy Malibu to this shop for an intermittent starting issue. The car was turning over/cranking but would occasionally fail to start. Despite this, they replaced the starter and starter relay. We questioned that decision since the engine was clearly cranking, but we were reassured that these repairs were necessary. After multiple visits and continued breakdowns, including being stranded several times, we decided to take the vehicle elsewhere. The other place quickly identified the real issue: the negative battery ground cable was not properly secured and would intermittently disconnect.
