A long overdue review! I had the pleasure of working with Zet from Zarus Engines in Oakland , Ca . 1101 98 th Avenue, Oakland, CA 94603 for the repair of two Mercruiser engines on my powerboat, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment I walked into his shop, I was struck by his professionalism and deep knowledge of engines. Even tho he doesn’t work on marine engines he took the project and he did an excellent job! He works alone mainly and when he promised he will finish the job , he delivered . Zet was incredibly reliable and consistently delivered on his promises. I stripped the tensioner belt on my Honda engine, and I wanted to find a local shop that could help me out with my problem. I truly got more than I expected when I came to Zarus's Engine's R/S. Zet, the owner, is very knowledgeable and passionate about his trade. This is an honest and experienced shop, and I highly recommend it to everybody; you will not be disappointed with the quality of work you will receive.

Roger does excellent work rebuilding engines. Been to him several times, and each build has been done at the highest quality and standards. Definite recommend!
