1st Loving Place Adult Family Home

I’ve visited 1st Loving Place Adult Family Home on many occasions. What impresses me the most, is the wonderful environment when Cosmina’s sons are visiting with the residents, interacting with them, telling jokes, or reading books. There’s always something delicious being cooked and treats laid on the dining room table, creating a homey feeling. I’d recommend this home wholeheartedly.

My father was here for 10 months. He became family with the people in the house. I will always appreciate everyone who helped care fore him. I would highly recommend this home.

My mom is 98 with a sharp mind, but needs a walker and assistance with showering and dressing. Due to previous falls at an assisted living facility, I moved her to 1st Loving Place for more oversight. 1st Loving Place is a home that is very nice, clean, well-kept and on a quiet street. Mom has her own room and is able to move around the main floor. Like any Adult Family Home, the caregiver and residents do change periodically. Mom is well cared for, is dressed and bathed and the food is good. The owner, Cosmina, is approachable and open to feedback. She is very kind to mom and willing to do nice things for her – interacting with mom, painting her nails and coloring her hair. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the other residents aren’t able to interact with mom so her only

My great-aunt went into hospice at 1st Loving Place. It’s a lovely, quiet and very clean facility located on the first floor of a family home. Views of trees and sky and the sound of birds add to the comfortable and homey atmosphere. Cosmina and her helper were so compassionate and kind to Phyllis. We will always be grateful to both of them for making her final months as peaceful as possible.

My mother suffered a series of devastating strokes several years ago. These strokes left her unable to speak or move on her own. During her 6 years at 1st Loving Place AFH, both the owners and caregivers treated her and my family as members of their own families. I was never once worried that she wouldn’t receive the very best care. It is a meticulously clean and healthy home. When my mom passed everyone cried as much as I did. 1st Loving Place AFH would be a kind, loving, nurturing and supportive environment for your loved one as well. I truly cannot say enough wonderful thungs about them.
