On my trip from Phoenix to Denver, I got a flat outside of Las Vegas, NM. I hadn't been home in 3 weeks, needless to say, I wanted to get home. I got my spare on, but with all the bad weather did not want to drive all the way home on it. Problem was, it was 4:45 by this time, and all shops in Las Vegas close at 5. After calling some of the bigger shops in town, all refusing to stay open to help, I called A1. They were more than glad to stay after closing to help. They had my tire patched and I was on my way in less than 30min. Only charged me $20. Great service, friendly and willing to stay open to help a stranger. Complete Gratitude to A1.

In July 2022, my husband and I were on a motorcycle ride to Colorado from Texas. When we got to Las Vegas, NM, we realized we had a flat on the rear of our Can Am Spyder. After calling several places, Walter came to us at the gas station to tell us he thought he had a tire that would work. He allowed us to use a part of his bay and some tools to get the old tire off, he mounted the new one and then we got it all put back together so we could be back on our way for the rest of our vacation. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity that day!!

I just now had Walter—the super friendly head honcho/owner here—repair a leaky radial tire from my F150 (the spinning-the-tire-in-water technique revealed the air leakage; as Walter said, “You got bubbles, you got troubles!”). Walter did a top notch, quick job of locating and patching the hole punctured by an embedded, thin screw barely the size of a thorn (there must be a poetic metaphor in there somewhere). Cherry on top: he charged me what was possibly 1/2 of what I’d have had to pay in an Austin, TX tire repair shop. Super nice guy, excellent workmanship, & unbeatable pricing. Can’t beat that!
