AAA Car Care Center - Clifton Park

I went to the AAA service center to get a tire plugged instead of calling roadside assistance, since my tire wasn’t completely flat and roadside has seemed understaffed recently. I’ve been a AAA member for years, and the last time I needed roadside help for a flat tire, I was charged $20. I was shocked to find out after the work was done that I was being charged more than double that amount for a simple plug. I wasn’t given an estimate or informed ahead of time that the price would be higher. Had I known, I would have reconsidered my options. The lack of price transparency was really disappointing.

In regards to the service... It was quick and easy. The individual sitting at the for at desk was clear in explaining everything. In regards to timing... Having come at a busier time, the wait was longer than expected, but fully understandable. Everything taken care of with great care.

Great service as always. Helped me plan my trip to Texas and find hotels that took dogs. I am glad to be a member

I wish I could give this place negative stars. They are the most inept auto repair place I've ever been to. They put the wrong sized lug nuts on my car, stripping the stems, which they never told me about. I brought my car in for new tires, and they ended up potentially wrecking my car! I told them what they did and they accused me of lying about it. This place should be shut down.
