Our 2016 Kia Sorento suffered a sudden engine failure at just 70,000 miles, despite meticulous maintenance with oil changes every 5,000 miles. We were on a family trip when the dash lit up with warnings and the engine went into limp mode. Stressful doesn’t even begin to cover it. After towing it to AAMCO Concord, they confirmed the engine needed replacement, but instead of leaving us with devastating news, they immediately reassured us and went above and beyond. Even though they didn’t have to, they worked directly with Kia to pursue a warranty extension claim, knowing this kind of failure wasn’t right given the mileage and service history. I cannot say enough about the Team here. They went way beyond what I expected. I live in central Vermont and own a 2015 Dodge Ram Promaster. The transmission blew on it and I could not find anyone in Vermont willing to work on it. My son in law suggested this team. I had it towed to them and they got after it. Huge kudos to the AAMCO in Concord — they went above and beyond to make sure my car came back without issues. While SilverRock(my warranty company) spent their time gaslighting me, I’m grateful they at least contracted with an honest mechanic who put countless hours into something he could’ve easily overlooked… all because of the principle.
