Took it to have a weird sound looked at was said I needed new motor mounts but I just got new motor mounts. So that was wrong. I took it to another shop and they found it was just a hold-down bar under my hood something so simple and they tried to charge me $500 for some motor mounts I didn't need.

Rusty (The franchise owner) owns the AAMCO in Danville and Richmond, so I would avoid both and deeply consider all the other bad reviews that these two locations share. The abridged version of the issue is, after removing my transmission for a second time to fix a leak caused by improper installation the first time, they neglected to install 1 of 3 bolts that hold the Torque Strut Bracket to the transmission. I paid 3k up front last November and it’s never been fixed. I’ve gotten it back 4 times all 4 times it broken down within a week. The truck is still there, no one answers the phone then when you go up there all you hear is the same story “the ordered the wrong parts, should be done this week.” Same story for almost 3 months now. Truck still not done.
