Customer Reviews
We took our 2018 Nissan Rogue here based on a referral from Cache Valley Automotive. We needed a differential assembly rear axle removed and REPLACED. We also needed tie rod ends removed and REPLACED. After the tie rod work an alignment was necessary. Finally, they did a power surge plus transmission fluid exchange service. I drove the car home and it felt great. Thank you Aamco for all the work you did and thank you for being transparent with us from start to finish.
This is the worst place to get your transmission rebuild. I got a quote from Ford to replace my 2018. Raptor transmission, they quoted me ten thousand dollars, so I brought it to aamco, and they quoted me just over eight thousand dollars, by the time they got done rebuilding the transmission, it ended up costing me just over ninety six hundred dollars, and then they missed two bolts, claiming it was a squeak from the suspension, when the squeak that was not there before. So I brought it back. It took them a week to diagnose it, Still didn't find the problem and so I brought it back to Ford, who then found the problem... So I paid the bill from Ford and now aamco will not own the responsibility of missing 2 critical bolts that hold that transmission to the undercarriage main cross frame. I
don’t usually leave reviews, but the team at AAMCO Logan absolutely deserves recognition. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with honesty, respect, and genuine care. They took the time to explain what was going on with my vehicle in a way I could actually understand — no pressure, no upselling, just straight answers and quality work. The technicians here clearly know their stuff. They diagnosed my transmission issue quickly, kept me updated throughout the process, and delivered the repair right on schedule. My car now runs smoother than it has in years, and I left feeling completely confident in the work that was done. What really stood out was their integrity. In an industry where it’s easy to feel unsure, AAMCO Logan stands out as a shop you can trust completely. They value their
Going to AAMCO was a truly awful experience. Our car was running fine when we brought it in, it just had one weird noise and a check engine light on. When we picked it up, it was much worse. They also take forever to fix things. It started lurching after we started it up, so we brought it back in which we thought would be under warranty, but we ended up paying a whole lot more. Then we picked it up a second time and it died in my driveway. They sent a tow truck to come get it, and expected me to pay for it. It just got worse and worse with them. We paid so much money, they would constantly call and tell us more and more things that needed to get fixed, And it was way above what they said previously. They also left a dirty rag in my car, Right on top of my children’s jackets. We liter
Had these guys do a bench job on my Dakota transmission and it seems to be pretty high quality. My original quote was $1600 but I ended up paying $3000 for the rebuild. I cant really fault them for that as you cant really get a proper quote till you open the sucker up. They were very pleasant to deal with and do quality work. I also got a nice warranty on my rebuild as well. The only thing that was frustrating was I couldn't use a coupon for $250 off on a custom rebuild. I was told it was because they weren't removing and installing the transmission out of my truck and it was just a bench job so it didn't apply. The coupon doesnt explicitly explain what applies and what doesn't for the deal. I'll be eating Ramen noodles until next paycheck I suppose, but overall it was a decent experience.
