Ace Hardware of Wallhaven

I stopped in for some automotive bolts. Found them pretty quick, also had great selection of worm Drive clamps and furnace filters. Sales staff was friendly and fast.

I love this place. It’s maybe a mile from my house and every time I go in somebody, staff always greets me and ask if I need anything. Today 10 December 2025 I went in to get a propane tank refilled.i paid and went to the area to wait. A young man name of Owen came out maybe not even 3 minuutes later and apologized for the wait. He then started on filling it but could not get the valve to open. He tried, I tried but we couldn’t open it the handle came off.so he apologized. I said no need. Then he suggests an exchange. That way u get a better tank and we did that. I cannot say enough good things about this young man he’s straight awesome. I think AceHardware is very fortunate to have him and he should get a raise and you should buy him a car, a nice new one

This Ace Store near 5 points intersection really has it all!! Complete inventory of items I need, and a great & knowledgeable staff of folks that have been very helpful. If the store does not have what you’re looking for, they will try to order it for you. What more can one ask for? Great place.

I’ve been visiting this store for a few years and the staff at this store are so delightful, I always have a smile on my face when I leave! Very friendly, personable, and helpful, the staff make the Wallhaven store a great place to get what I need.

Jo is the greatest. She is all about the customer experience and always greets me with a smile and always asks me if I need any help. She is always happy and responsive and it’s a treat just to see her. I was in the other day and I failed to get a cart. My arms were filled with too many items but Jo came to the rescue. She carried my items to the register and even helped me get my items to the car. That’s what I call service. Different people have mentioned her to me and have told me just how great she is. West Akron is a very cohesive neighborhood and we all like to talk and it’s amazing to me that 3 different people have told me to go to Ace and make sure I say hello to Jo. These are the kind of employees that make a company successful and keeps me coming in. I’m in there at least twice
