I recently rented a car from Avis, and my reservation clearly showed a total of $600. However, when I dropped off the vehicle, I was shocked to see that I had been charged $736. When I asked about the additional charges, I was told it was for “maintenance and cleaning,” which makes absolutely no sense because the car was returned in clean condition with no issues. This feels like an unfair and hidden fee scam, and it’s extremely frustrating as a customer who followed all rental terms. I expect full clarification and a refund of the unauthorized extra amount. This experience has completely damaged my trust in Avis, and I hope they resolve this immediately.

This is my second time renting from them and it’s never a disappointment. They even accommodated my Sunday pickup preference. No long lines or hassle. Keep up the great work guys
