As the Winter season approaches, I had to replace an aging battery in my 2010 Altima. It had begun failing even on warm days. I checked with Advanced Auto Parts in Billerica and they had inventory for an immediate install. I was helped by Dave last night (11/19/24) around 6:00pm. Dave did a quick check on the battery options for my car and recommended Gold level option. He found the new battery and brought it out to my car in the parking lot with his tools. Dave was quick with the replacement as I watched and was done in minutes. I started my car and all was good. As a farther check on the charging system, Dave brought out their alternator testing unit and set up a test of the alternator performance. The employees at this store are great, they’re very considerate and helpful. I’ve only purchased a few items from here but use it as a UPS shipping location to send items out often. I will note that I give UPS (NOT this advance auto parts) a 1 star. I dropped off a priority overnight package expecting for UPS to pick it up at night. They didn’t. The UPS driver never showed up. My package had to be kept frozen so I was forced to return here ASAP next morning to take the package pack, reopen it and put the contents back in the freezer. Looking through my shipment history, UPS has taken up to 3 days to pick up from this location sometimes. Again, the employees were great. One of them let me in the store before opening time and returned my important package to me. But don’t EVER send anythi
