From start to finish these guys showed professionalism and expertise. Even putting in some extra labor on a rear seal leak on a 2016 Nissan NV3500 5.6L, saving me the cost of additional parts. Job was completed quickly at a very reasonable price.

John was quick to get me in and test drove my truck. He was able to add some fluid and make my problems disappear. Many mechanics could have bent me over. He was fast, honest, and didn’t even charge me when most would have. I highly recommend John and Advantage Transmission.

I recently brought my 2003 Thunderbird into Advantage Transmission, after an unsuccessful trans rebuild at a different trans shop (The car still had harsh shifting going into second and third gears). The owner, John, was very upfront about expectations, and said it could possibly be in the $2.5 to $4k range if another rebuild and expensive parts were needed. After he had a chance to take it apart to inspect, he determined the main problem was that it needed a new solenoid body. He replaced it, along with some other work, and the cost for parts and labor was a fraction of the initial rough estimate he gave. The best part is the T-Bird shifts great now and is a joy to drive again (I can put that V8 to good use now :) John was honest, fair and really knew what he was doing to get the job

I met John years ago when I had to come to his shop to inspect a car. The shop looked great. Had quite a few cars in the shop, hot rods too. Come today, my car has developed a red leak. He told me it wasn't what I was thinking, something serious, but, a simple fix. Good shop to do business with. Thank you again, John.

John is really honest and knowledgeable! My local Ford dealer opened up, inspected, and quoted $8,000 for a new transmission in my F-250 truck saying that’s what I needed. John inspected it and said the transmission was just fine but I had an intake air restriction. He found that the air filter was installed upside down 🤦‍♂️ (thanks a lot Jiffy Lube for always taking my air filter out and showing it to me even though it’s 90% clean, and then putting back in upside down) causing the truck to feel like it to lose torque and hang up at higher rpm’s. This is the only place I’ll go for transmission work from now on!! Thanks again John!
