Advent Automotive (Auto Repair Farmington NY)

These guys saved the holidays for me. Long story short I was traveling out of state to see in-laws when my car kept overheating. They got me in same day, worked with local dealerships to get the part I needed, and got me back on the road amidst their busy schedule. All the mechanics were friendly, informative, showed me what broke, and did all the leg work for me to fight with my warranty. They even gave me my old part in the certified box to show them to get reimbursed. If I lived in the area they would be my mechanic. Anyone that goes here is in great hands. Thanks again Mike and everyone at Advent for all your help!!

I am new to this area and needed to find someone to provide new rear brakes. Getting on line, I saw the terrific reviews for Advent Auto. So I took a chance. I am glad I did. I will use them for ALL auto repairs from now on. Courteous, truthful and professional. A treasure to have in my hometown!

Another 5 star review here from two very happy people who didn’t even end up being customers! Our brake assist failed on the 90 near the Canandaigua exit. Got off safely and limped to Advent which was still open. We were coming from Buffalo and had a long trip planned. I’m not sure of the gentleman’s name who is the head mechanic (maybe owner, I don’t know, but to my older eyes - a young fella), but he was so helpful and compassionate of our situation. Being late on a Friday he couldn’t get the needed part in but researched prices and provided us a quote so we would know what we would be dealing with back home. For all of this he charged us nothing! So thankful for him, for Advent for taking a scary vacation-ending situation and making it so much more manageable. Thank you!!!
