You decide: o brought my car to Mike to have the air-conditioning fixed. I told Mike that I would turn the air on, it would get cold, and then it would switch to bring in the air from the outside. This would bring in warm air. When I went to pick up my car, Mike said that he could not replicate the problem and it was $188.10 for labor to run some tests. A couple of days later, I stopped at MC auto and asked Mike if he would go for a ride with me so I could show him the problem. He did, and said to bring in the car on Thursday. I have been going to MC Auto for over 15 years. They are a small family run business that runs a fair, honest shop. Their prices are in line with other local shops, their work is solid, and their customer service is pretty good for a small shop (don’t expect fancy accommodations while you wait and a customer service rep that will smooth talk you). They give it to you straight. Mike (owner/operator) is as honest as you get. They go out of their way to help you and if you think the price is too high, just ask, “Why?” Mike will be happy to break it down for you.
