Can’t say enough about these Akron Transmission. These guys were great on the phone, rebuilt my transmission in less than 3 days and back to the dealership before the holidays. They took care of the problem and my transit connect drives absolutely flawless. Highly recommend, more than fair on the repair bill! Thank you guys!

Gary down there is very friendly. These guys had my transmission out, rebuilt, and back in within the 3-4 day timeliness they gave me. I called later with a couple of maintenance questions and they were happy to answer them. They were very fair with the price. Not the cheapest, not the most expensive estimate I had received on this repair. But, it was their Interaction with me (the customer), that made me comfortable choosing them. If you have transmission problems, this is the place to go!

I have know Gary for many years on a personal level so when I bought a car off him he said take it to have it checked and I said if you say it’s good then I will trust you. Folks my mistake he sold me a rusted completely underneath the car with a bad valve in it. Long story short I bought it about a year and a half ago and put over $10.000.00 into having the motor and transmission put in it. And when I bought it he had just put a transmission in it DONT EVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH AKRON TRANSMISSION. What a disappointment it is to know that when you thought someone was your friend, they took advantage of you.
