Alamo car rental at the TYS Airport in Knoxville, TN is the best. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We got all of our questions answered, received our vehicle quickly and stress free and were on our way in record time. The vehicle we rented was very nice, very clean, worked properly and we had no issues. The return process was also very easy. We returned early in the morning before they were open and had no issues following the signs on proper return procedures. They then confirmed they received the vehicle and emailed me a final receipt. We will always rent from this location when we go to TN.

Carol, our counter representative upon arrival, could not have been more wonderful. She was an absolute joy to work with from the moment we walked in. She was personable, engaging, and genuinely kind — we even found ourselves laughing about where we’re from and discovering similar interests. It didn’t feel like a transaction; it felt like a welcoming conversation. Carol was thorough, attentive, and made sure every detail was handled seamlessly. Most importantly, she made us feel like we were the most important customers in the building at that moment — a rare and special quality these days. She is truly a gem and not easy to find in customer service anymore. If I could give her 20 stars out of 10, I absolutely would. She is the primary reason we would choose to rent from Alamo again. T

Great rental company! Their booth is at the baggage claim area not in the garage so don't miss it on your way thru like me lol. Car was in great condition pick up and drop off was super fast and simple.

Rental experience was overall good. Booked with Expedia and paid in full at time of booking so pickup at airport was easy and only required a $1 hold on my debit card. Only complaint is the car was filthy on the outside and average on the inside. Customer service people at rental desk were nice and pleasurable
