All Star Smog Oceanside

I didn't even have an appointment and they got me in so quickly. It's a very easy to find location, parking is very clear, there's a coupon on their website, and the staff is amazingly kind. I'd absolutely recommend coming here to anyone needing their smog check done quickly and professionally.

This is a great place to have you vehicle smogged. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. I really like how they ask you a series of questions before taking your payment to make sure you have the best chance of passing the smog test. I was having some charging issues on my SUV and had the battery disconnected the day before. They let me know to put some more miles on the SUV before having it smogged so the ecu could go through it cycles as if I didn't do that I wouldn't have passed the smog test as it would have thought I was cheating the system by disconnecting the batter to remove a check engine light.

I was referred to this smog place three times in the past two years and it's unfortunate because when I took my 2000 Toyota Corolla, the person doing the smog suggested that my catalytic was stolen he mentioned seeing this issue with a lot of people like me. I am a person of color and I took this as an attack, that people of color steal catalytics. He costed me so much more trouble when all the other times I've done my smog everything has been fine. He even tried sending me to his buddy across the way to get a new one when nothing was wrong with it. I'm not sure if it was his son or not who was behind the counter but he was not kind either and was not professional. I have seen other negative comments about this place where the issue seemed to be rooted in racism in the past but I don't see

Great place. Took me right in no appointment. I’m from out of state and just came from the DMV trying to figure out everything I needed. Not much luck. Tom at all star told me EXACTLY what I needed and how to do it. 10 stars if that was an option

I came with 2 customers ahead of me in line and still only waited about 30-45mins for a smog test. Super efficient and the price was great!
