This is an example of professional. I would bring the Vardo to this establishment anytime. I'm on my way back to New Hampshire after premiering Rosemary ATU310 at the Stone Soup Storytelling Festival in Woodruff, SC. I have a full three days to make the trip, and what with the storm damage, I got barely any time on the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC. So, I headed up to Fancy Gap to enjoy the Virginia section. But Grateful Vardo wouldn't start when I stopped to fill up. I was stopped just 50 yards from the open Parkway ramp, but the Starter was fried. The attendant at Cockerham's recommended Allen's, and less than three hours later, I was playing my flute up at the Cahas Mountain overlook. Yup. Sometimes life is just about perfect. Thank you, Brian. You are my hero.

This place and people were amazing to work with. We were headed down 77 to Charlotte and the last hour and a half left our car engine started to misfire. With it being Memorial Day, we were able to leave it and get a hotel for the night. Brian was able to get our car checked out first thing in the morning and replaced the coil and spark plug. He even went out of his way to pick us up at the hotel we are staying out. Amazing! He explained everything to us and helped us get back on the road. Appreciate this shop and would definitely recommend.

Folks here are good and honest. We drove from Miami, FL to Christiansburg, VA and on our way, our car broke down right next to Allen’s Garage on a Sunday on Father’s Day. Although closed they stated we could leave our truck there. Very rare to find folks that are easy going and understanding. Thank you all for figuring out what was wrong with it and go from there. This town really left an impression on us. We will never forget this community.
