Altitude Auto and Tire

Y'all...this place is the jam. I rolled in to the shop, literally on a rim, and Doug and Chelsea had me out of there within 30 minutes. Not only did they throw the spare on quickly, but they also helped me fix what I'll refer to as the "unfortunate rear bumper incident." On top of providing great service, they also seem like great humans, and were awesome to chat with as I waited. While I didn't want the flat, I'm glad I got to meet them. Head their way for all things automotive repair, folks!

While traveling through Colorado, my tire pressure read 17psi and one garage in Gunnison told me I'd have to leave the car the entire day, while another shop told me they were under staffed and couldn't help me. Luckily I called Dave and he fit me in right away, even though he was super busy. He saved my day and my son and I were able to spend the day biking at Crested Butte. Thank you Dave!

Dave is a saint, pure and simple. I was in town for a week and the day before I was scheduled to leave, thought I had punctured the oil pan on my vehicle. Dave quickly put it on the lift and discovered that it wasn't punctured, but the folks who had performed an oil change hadn't tightened the oil filter properly (1,500 miles ago). Dave tightened it and crisis was averted. For any auto shop to do that on the spur of the moment is unheard of these days. I cannot express enough thanks and appreciation to Dave for that. Efficient, responsive, got the job done. Very grateful. When I had a run-flat tire go flat on a trip, Chelsea called me back as soon as the shop opened and immediately placed an order for the new tire and got me up and running ASAP. Her knowledge and efficiency were impressive, and I felt taken care of. Thank you, Chelsea.

Awesome service and great prices. We are second homeowners in Crested Butte, and these folks have reliably, professionally, and happily taken care of our SUV whenever we've had problems. From new tires to a new battery, Altitude has never let us down!
