Chris and Tracy at American Auto are absolutely wonderful! They were able to schedule a spontaneous emission inspection appointment for me a couple days ahead of time, and they were very friendly while I was there. I would highly recommend stopping by American Auto for your car-related needs; they’ve replaced the recently-closed Don’s Automotive off of Highway 30, next to the local Outlaw Tom’s shop.

I had a great experience with this auto shop! Communication was excellent and they made sure that quality parts were going in my vehicle! I highly recommend them and will definitely return there if I need any more services.

I called them and spoke with a very nice lady and told her that I think I need brakes because when I use them I hear grinding. I also had them do a lube, oil, filter and rotate tires. They called & said I didn’t need brakes I was just missing a bold on the caliber which was making that noise. What an honest business. I highly recommend this place. It’s a couple who owns it and they are super nice.

I will always take my vehicles to American Auto. The crew there understood my wife and I’s need to get our car back in a timely manner and was able to get it back to us in such short notice. I also appreciated the fair and honest feedback of what issues they saw that needed to be addressed, and others that could hold off until the next visit. Support local businesses and they will support you.

Hello, As a loyal former Don’s Automotive customer here. Literally the first day this place opened when it was just me and the new owner I politely asked for a piece of note paper of the price and labor cost for a rear main seal job on a 2003 Escalade quoted 1300 total. The owner gave me a price but shook his head “no” and thought to myself this guy’s business is not gonna make it in the future with that kind of unprofessional behaviour. Also I don’t get why they still have the old Don’s automotive sign behind the American auto service sign? I have a bad feeling he’s tricking customers with it. Anyways this shop isn’t the same as it used to be sadly therefore not recommended, SHADY.
