American Rent-A-Car

Ladeemae was superb. She was very helpful just what I needed after deplaning from a turbulent travel with the plane. Priceline messed up with my car reservations and most rental cars didn’t have a last minute car available. It was about right because they do cat Cater to military families with a discount. She made sure that we were hydrated and offered us water. She was very efficient despite being by herself. I will definitely rent with her and American rent a car the next time I come back. Sydney was a great help in doing Everything to get me into a rental car! Thank you so much Sydney! Unfortuntly Sydney seemed to be the only thing that was excellent with this company. About a 1 1/2 hours after i left, i recieved a call from Sydney telling me that the car i have has a safety recall that needed to be addressed and asked if I would bring the car back IMMEDIATLEY .I had already wasted a lot of time getting the rental i asked if i could bring it back the next day, she said no but gave me until 6pm that night. She was very adament in getting the vehicle back to them by 6pm. I gave in.So I said OK, even though my mind was telling me not to drive iut anymre. I asked what the problem was and she told me that the recall has to do with the possibility of the engine shutting down g

May was so helpful. She gave me a call the morning of my reservation to confirm my arrival, what I needed to bring to pick up the rental, she walked me to the rental and gave me full details on how to return the rental. Very sweet and attentive. This is my first time renting with American and they so far been wonderful.

My experience at American-rent-car was Excellent. I was on a military drill weekend in Norfolk, VA and was given a phone call one day in advance to confirm my car reservation and so I knew where to go at the airport. The customer service, with Sydney here in Norfolk was outstanding and I’ll definitely plan to use them again on my next visit!!

Sydney waited an hour and a half past closing time as my flight was late and I was delayed with my luggage. She went above and beyond to make sure I left with the vehicle I wanted, a bottle of water, and excellent customer service. This is my first time using this car rental company, and I will seek them out first next time, as I am beyond impressed.
