I took my van to get the water pump replaced. Andy was professional, considerate, knowledgeable and finished the van in a few hours. I was on a tight budget and he was VERY accommodating for me and was able to work with me. The van works great!! I'm very happy I went to him! I’d give zero stars if I could. Was in a pinch before leaving town and Went in to get an 10an fitting welded to a new oil pan, of which I had the hole even precut for the bung. and was charged $250 dollars for the smallest of welds (the fitting is about the size of a quarter). all other shops I called could have done it the next morning for $50 or less but I needed it today. I said I was from out of town and feel like he took advantage of it… and gave some bs response to my dissatisfaction with the price of “quality work cost more” and called it “custom work” when the welds would take even the most novice 10 minutes to do. … the welds were nothing special.. I would never recommend this shop to anyone and the arrogance of the owner as if I wouldn’t know he was ripping me off was outrageou

While prices were fair for the repairs, as far as I have researched, I felt that andy did not respect my decisions on my own car. Working with him left me constantly feeling dumb and childish- misogyny under the guise of being “helpful”. I would not recommend him to people less knowledgeable about cars or women if you don’t want to be treated this way. He was responsive and convenient for me after I got him to text me about my car, and was able to do repairs fairly quickly without me having to go a far distance. First off- I’m not a car person, but I am capable of making informed decisions and doing simple repairs on my own when possible.
