Applewood Our House Assisted Living Memory Care North Arvada

My father has been at Applewood for about 8 months, it is better than we could of prayed for. He is more loved, cared for and safe than we could have hoped for. The staff are absolutely amazing, true angels take of care him.

We are so happy with our decision to move our mother from Amira to Applewood. The care is far and above better and safer.

Our family member who had been residing at Applewood Our House #5 passed away today. I can’t say enough about how the staff and facility were far and beyond what we could have expected. We were navigating uncharted water and the staff were compassionate and fully engaged. We never felt that our family member was just being managed; In fact, we observed that she was truly being CARED for. Because of this, our family member lived out her days with dignity and kindness. We are so thankful for Applewood Our House #5, Carrie, Raven and the rest of the staff for ushering us through a highly emotional and difficult stage of life. Thank you Applewood #5!

Home it's not always easy to define especially when you have to make such a tough decision about a loved one living with memory loss. Making the decision to move a loved out of their home is tough. However, Applewood and their team makes it so easy. The level of professionalism and compassion is second to none. I love their small home environment. It truly is the next best thing to being at home. Studies show a smaller environment enables those living with Dementia to thrive especially with their amazing staffing ratio. Not too much their staff is incredible (highly trained) and it is amazing how proactive they can be given their lovely home environment and incredible staff.

My mom has been a resident at Applewood Our House in Arvada for almost a year. We have been so happy with every aspect of her care. I want to especially thank Amber Swan for her loving heart and special attention that she gives my mom. It means so much to my mom and makes me happy knowing she's being cared for in such a special way! Thank you all for your hard work and caring hearts!
