APR Smog

Had my car smog tested, service was quick, helpful and good price. Will come again when car requires again a smog test.

My nephew took my 1998 explorer in for a smog check. He was charged $140. No problems reported. I just called for a quote and was told $70 out the door.

DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT COME HERE. If i could give negative stars i would. They first charged me 100$ for a smog check which is already expensive to begin with, i needed to fix a part in my car and they wanted to charge me 800$ to fix it. The Filipino man working there said "fix the car and when you come back i'll pass you free of charge." I went to another auto shop to get it fixed for 200$ and when i came back he wanted to charge me another 80$, going back on his word. After waiting there for an hour as another client was arguing with the Filipino guy i finally settled for 30$ to get the hell out of that place. This place just REEKS of dishonest business practice. Was in an out within 10 minutes on a Thursday afternoon. Staff was courteous and on point. Gave me a cold water bottle and a seat in front of a swamp cooler, on a hot day, while the car was being certified. Awesome service!! I'll be using them again.

I took my car for a smog check today. They are good people and quickly took care of my car. The only thing that I did not appreciate was that they didn’t honor a $20 coupon that they offer on their website. When I presented a copy of the coupon , he said that it is only good for the price of $69 and up.There is no indication of price on the coupon!! This is an example of misleading advertising. Check out the coupon by yourselves before you go there ,it is valid from Aug. through Dec. 2021.
