Arcadia at Limerick Pointe

We moved my dad (86 years old) in about 1 1/2 months ago and our only regret is that we didn’t do it SOONER. My dad moved from an hour away, so I was the main contact person setting everything up for the move. Lynn Walsh was our main contact person - she was an absolute angel throughout the entire process. She was available days, nights, and weekends for any questions that I had. They made the move in process smooth and stress-free. She has also been available after moving in for any questions I have. The food is delicious; the staff are exceptional; the apartments are gorgeous. While in a conversation with my dad the other day, I called his place an apartment… he corrected me and said, “I don’t think of it as an apartment - I think of it as HOME”. Love Arcadia! The memory care staff is the best. They love their patients and treat them so well. It is so refreshing to walk into a place and just feel welcomed and loved by not only staff but the residents as well. The food, activities, trips are all excellent. I could not have chosen a better place for my Mother to live.

We placed my mother in the memory care facility two months ago. As you can imagine selecting the right facility is very stressful on all family members. We couldn’t be happier with this facility. The care teams are top notch. The environment is comforting. Everyone is so friendly and compassionate and appears fully attentive to helping their residents feel welcome, engaged in activities and to be part of a “family and friends” environment to help create a sense of belonging and comfort. The care team is also very attentive to the residents care needs and hygiene. Seeing our mother at peace and comfortable is very heart warming. My mom was at Arcadia in the Memory Care Unit. She was treated with such love and care. After only being there for a week, I felt like everyone knew her and cared about her. They gave her the freedom to do many different things. Like standing at the kitchen counter and watching them cook as well as walking with the nurse as she went from room to room giving the nightly meds. She was always given great food to eat and they always had snacks available for her. In the end, she was placed on hospice there. Her nurses diligently repositioned her so that she would not get bed sores and they did an amazing job of keeping her clean and looking good. I can't say enough about it. My mom moved to Arcadia on December 6th. The previous facility she was in did not meet her needs at all. I am a Registered Nurse, have been for 34 years, the care my mother was given at Arcadia was outstanding. All of my moms needs were met. She was VERY happy there. Whenever she pressed her call button, it was answered within minutes. She expressed her happiness with her new residence on a daily basis. From the receptionist, the nurses, care aids, med techs and anyone else I missed, the care and compassion was outstanding. My mother’s last days were spent with her very comfortable and cared for. Her last days were exactly what she had told me she wanted them to be. I appreciate the staff for respecting my moms wishes. I would recommend this facility to everyone!!!
