Auto Service Specialist

I highly recommend Auto Service Specialist for any car repair needs. My wife, sister-in-law, and I were on a trip to Mackinaw city when we needed to put the car in the shop. I spoke with Kam on a Monday afternoon and explained the situation and that we were out of town. He was able to squeeze us into his already very busy schedule. Kam is very knowledgeable, courteous, passionate, and truly cares about his customers. He went beyond and above to make light of a stressful situation when your hundreds of miles from home. If you're needing a mechanic, I highly recommend taking your vehicle to Auto Service Specialist as Kam is a top-notch shop. Please keep in mind that he's a busy shop so be patient as you will be among several customers at the time of service.

I've had good experiences here. I have a 2015 Yukon XL that had the notorious torque converter issues. Cam was very knowledgeable on the issue and set me straight. Was one of the only shops that was willing to replace the TC without trying to sell me a whole trans rebuild or a new trans. He also reprogrammed the trans for better shifting and less wear on the TC and disabled the DOD, I really appreciated the help with the preventative maintenance in the tune. They're definitely busy, but I didn't have any issues with communication. These guys work like crazy and got the job done fast when the parts came in. Just recently came back for an unrelated issue and the communication and transparency was top notch again. This is definitely the shop to go to in the area 👍

These guys have a great reputation, and really good work. My only qualm about giving 5 stars it's because phone calls are seldom, or never returned.. I have called numerous times to make appointments, I have left messages which have never been returned. Getting back to the client is a huge part of customer service, along with work performed. Other than that it's a really good company.

The only shop I'll use cam and the crew rock over there. The absolute best..highly recommend

These guys are real Pros! They did a great job on my cracked coolant pump housing, new water pump, thermostat and timing belt! Would highly recommend, great communication and accurate estimates.
