I had a couple of parts fail in the cooling system on my BMW. I originally had it taken to another repair shop. Once the problems were determined, I called around to ask for 2nd opinions. When I contacted Autowerks, they were polite, friendly, and helpful. It seems like they are foreign car enthusiasts, who care about treating cars well. An inspection of the vehicle was conducted, and a report was generated including photos (which I greatly appreciate). The other component that really impressed me was the communication. They are the most patient, thorough, transparent, trustworthy, and careful team I’ve ever worked with on my vehicles’ repairs and maintenance, as well as my family’s vehicles. I was passing through Freeport in the fall when my rental car had a flat tire. The guys at Autowerkes Maine don't typically do that kind of work on that type of car, but they helped me out of a bind right around closing time. Great service at a very reasonable price. Thank you!

After several disappointing service experiences with the dealer, I decided to give Autowerkes Maine a shot. By far the best service experience I have had in 50 years of car ownership. Courteous, efficient, reasonably priced. I highly recommend them.

Brought my 2014 Mini Cooper in for a four wheel alignment, and programming of a new steering rack that I installed. They did both for me at a reasonable price and completed the work in the day. They recommended a couple other repairs that I declined due to wanting to complete them, myself, and they had no issues with that. They also retorqued a control arm bolt for me that was lose after I had replaced it--nice that they noticed and looked over the work I previously did. Lastly, they noticed a cold start issue causing the vehicle to stall that I have been dealing with for awhile. I had previously brought my Mini to the local BMW dealership requesting them to run an update to the firmware to fix the cold start issue as posted by the Mini service bulletin. BMW said there was no update to sol
