Casco Bay Carwash

Casco Bay Car Wash always does an awesome job!!!! Been coming since they opened and never a problem!!

I have been a regular for about a year now. However this is the second time in the past couple months I paid for the Max wash and got barely the basic. There is no one on sight to even correct it. Not to mention, they don’t answer phone calls during normal business hours. Super frustrating, to literally get charged double of the service you pay for, not to mention the waiting. Because they also only ever have two of the three bays open for business.. So much for convenience of being in the neighborhood… Not worth the wait, not worth the money..

I’ve been to this car wash 6-8 times since they opened hoping it would improve since it’s a convenient location, and it never has. If there is more than one car in line prepare to wait 20 minutes-plus. Today’s adventure took a full 30 minutes. For $19, I would at least expect the water cannons to clear all the soap from my truck. Not the case, as I drove out with a huge pool of soap splattered across the hood. Plenty of internet ink has been spilled on how terrible the fans/dryers are, and today the entire back half of my truck remained soaked because the fans inexplicably shut off with 10+ seconds left on the timer. Not worth your time or your money. Won’t be back.

Your car wash nightmare…I got stuck with a kiosk payment screen that froze part way through my payment process, with several cars behind me. And obviously I had no place to go. I couldn’t even get out of my car to see if anybody was in that building to help me because I was parked so close the kiosk. So I had to shout as best I could to the cars behind me to back up so I could get out. What a mess. Never going back.

Edit: I'm told they are closed due to low temps (under 15) still, it's a frustrating batting average coming here. It seems like they are either catastrophically busy or the lanes are out of service. It's a lousy experience driving to a carwash and leaving with a dirty car more often than not.
