Avis Car Rental

We use to use Enterprise and these people at Avis are just easier to work with. They are actually happy to greet me when I arrive and the other place made me feel like a burden.

Made a reservation. Went to pick up the car, but was told they didn’t have any when we arrived. Had to get transportation to another location.

This location is a joke. Not once, not twice but THREE SEPARATE TIMES has this location called me the day before or day of my rental and said “sorry we don’t have any cars”. Not only that but they will cancel your reservation and enter it as ‘cancelled by the customer’. I am an Avis member and never had such consistent and terrible service. Given as such I don’t think this is a corporate issue but rather a location issue. Every time this location has stiffed me on a car has caused a significant amount of inconvenience with needing to quickly book with another company and pay even more because of the last minute booking. There isn’t an excuse that would make the same thing happening three times okay. However for everyone’s sake I hope Avis responds to this review with a genuine answer that

I was happy with my experience at Avis. The process itself was simple and quick, and should I need to rent a car again, I would definitely rent from this location again. My only recommendation to future customers would be to pre-pay for gas, and if you don’t, make sure you fill it to the level it was at when you rented it. Otherwise, you’re going to pay an insane amount of money for gas.

The staff not help at all. I booked a reservation and when I pick up he give me a jeep wrangler hybrid which I drive 10 mins and too much vibration. I went back and ask for replacement or upgrade but he tell me o car available. I ask to refund then he go and charge me 42 dollars without notifying me. I will never use AVIS car rental in the future
