Avis Car Rental

I rented the car and during pickup notified the rental center that tires were worn out. They said it will be ok don’t worry. During my journey to another city, one tire busted. Avis helped me get a replacement vehicle. Then later I was charged for fuel $207!! And I was told call customer service. We can not help you here.

This location 3547 Old Norcross Rd, Duluth, GA 30096 do not deserve a 3.3 rating. Based on my 1st and last experience they deserve 1 star rating. After prepaying for a vehicle a week in advance how come on the day of pickup they don't have a car waiting! Does anyone at this location have the common sense to check to see if there's enough cars to cover reservation! From my observation they lack basic AND fundamental knowledge. I think a 3rd grader could do better! The sad part to this is the Corporate Office don't seem to care bc this is a repeated story!!

When I book a reservation, there is no car in this location. The Avis booking system is a mess, before I come to pick up the car I double confirm with customer rep, they said yes it is confirmed you have the car. But it is not, really frustrating the customer! I checked my Avis president circle member, but it gives nothing except this, bad reviews on Avis system 100%.

I know what you're thinking, you’re scrolling through these 1-star reviews wondering, “C’mon… it can’t be THAT bad, right?” Oh, but it is. It absolutely is. This Avis location is like the lottery: no matter what car you reserved, what you prepaid for, or what confirmation email you printed out like a responsible adult… you’re still rolling the dice. If you actually need the car for travel, an event, or literally anything important. Your plans might be doing a hard left without you. If you’re just picking up a car for fun with zero urgency and unlimited patience, hey, you might enjoy the adventure. Otherwise? Bring backup plans. Lots of them.

Let’s start with picking up the rental: I got a call at 2:47pm on Thursday stating my rental was to be picked up at 6 but they close at 6pm so I need to be there earlier. I asked if I was there within the hour, if would that be fine. He said yes. When I got there, my rental wasn’t ready… I took over an hour just waiting for my rental. I patiently waited. When I received it, it wasn’t even clean, all they did was spray an air gun hose and said it’s ready to go. The car was dirty on the exterior and the interior. I went to the beach for my trip. When I returned the vehicle there was some sand but nothing out of the ordinary foot traffic, and I was told I was going to be charged a cleaning fee of $75. I even asked PRIOR to taking the vehicle if I needed to clean the car before returning it. I
